How Babypino researches and compares baby products, and what our product guides can and cannot tell you.
Babypino product guides help parents understand what to look for before they buy, from nappies and bath products to sleep and feeding gear. They explain features, safety points and trade-offs in plain language, so you can choose what suits your baby and your budget.
We start with safety. We check current guidance from recognised health and safety organisations, relevant product safety standards and recall notices. We then compare manufacturer specifications, materials and certifications, and read a wide range of independent reviews and parent feedback to understand common strengths and problems.
We do not currently test products hands-on in a lab or at home. When a guide is based on research rather than our own testing, we do not describe it as tested.
Depending on the product, we consider safety features and standards, materials and ingredients, ease of use and cleaning, durability, size and fit, value for money and how a product suits different families. For skin care products we look closely at fragrance-free and gentle formulations.
Brands cannot pay to be included in a guide or to change what we write. Some guides contain affiliate links, which may earn Babypino a small commission at no extra cost to you. Commission never decides which products we mention or how we describe them.
We review guides regularly and update them when products, prices, safety guidance or availability change. If you spot something out of date, please let us know.
