Who we are

Babypino is a baby care information website based in the Netherlands. We are responsible for the personal data described on this page. You can reach us through our contact page.

What data we collect

Website statistics. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our site, such as which pages are read and how people arrive. This involves cookies and data about your device, browser and approximate location. Google Analytics 4 does not store full IP addresses.

Messages you send us. If you contact us, we receive your name, email address and the content of your message, and use them only to reply.

Technical data. Our hosting provider keeps server logs, such as IP address, date and time of a visit and the page requested, to keep the website secure and working.

Why we use your data

We process data to run and improve the website and to answer your questions. The legal bases are our legitimate interest in a secure, working website, your consent where cookies require it, and taking the steps you ask for when you contact us.

Who we share data with

We use trusted service providers to run the site: our web host (Hostinger) and Google (Google Analytics). Google may process data outside the European Economic Area under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses. We do not sell personal data.

When you click an affiliate link and visit a retailer, that retailer processes your data under its own privacy policy. See our affiliate disclosure.

How long we keep data

Analytics data is kept for up to 14 months. Messages are kept for as long as needed to handle your question and for a reasonable period afterwards. Server logs are kept for a short period by our host.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, object to or restrict its use, and ask for a copy. You can withdraw consent at any time. To use these rights, contact us. You also have the right to complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
