12 Little Letters
One day, they'll read your words.
Twelve little letters to capture the memories, feelings and small moments of your baby's first year.
Why letters
The little moments deserve a place to stay.
The first year moves in small steps. A new sound. A favorite song. The way they hold your finger while they fall asleep.
Photos show what those days looked like. A letter holds what they felt like — what you noticed, what made you laugh, what you hoped for them.
12 Little Letters gives you a simple way to write a few of those things down, once a month, in your own words. No perfect sentences needed. Just you, writing to them.
Three simple steps
How it works
A peek at the prompts
Each letter starts with a few short prompts to help you begin. Here are some of the prompts we're working with:
“This month, you made me smile when…”
“One thing I never want to forget is…”
“Something I hope you always know is…”
These prompts are an early preview. The free first letter includes them. The full collection is still being developed, and its prompts may change.

FAQ
Questions
Do I need to be good at writing?
Not at all. These letters aren't for anyone to grade. A few honest lines in your own words mean more than polished paragraphs. The prompts are there to help you start.
How much time does it take?
About ten minutes a month is enough. Some parents write more, some write three sentences. Both are perfect.
Can I print it at home?
Yes. The letter is a PDF sized for regular US Letter paper and prints fine on a home printer. For letters you want to keep for many years, a heavier, acid-free paper is a nice option.
Can both parents write?
Of course. You can each write your own letter, take turns month to month, or share one page. Grandparents and other caregivers can write too.
Is the full collection available?
Not yet. Right now, we're offering the first letter for free and listening to what parents think. If you'd like to hear when the full collection is ready, join the interest list.
What do I get right now?
One free, two-page printable: your first little letter with prompts, plus a short guide to writing and keeping your letters. No email or sign-up needed.
